Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation (PMDC) is an autonomous corporate body functioning under the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Resources Government of Pakistan, possessing necessary expertise in exploration, evaluation, mining and marketing of different minerals in Pakistan.
FATA DA is financing PMDC for enhancement of proven
copper reserves and preparation
of bankable documents for attracting national
and multi-national investors and resource estimation
of coal in Shirani Area, F.R.
D.I.Khan. In addition FATA DA is also having partnership
through equity participation for development of
coal and soapstone mining in
Kurram Agency.
